George Jung, 'Blow' inspiration played by Johnny Depp, dead at 78
The news was confirmed on his official Instagram account on Wednesday. Jung's exploits were chronicled in the 1993 book "Blow: How a Small Town Boy Made $100 Million with the MedellÃn Cocaine Cartel and Lost It All" by Bruce Porter, which was adapted into the 2001 movie.
