In a shocking decision, the Cook County State's Attorney dropped all charges against "Empire" star Jussie Smollett. In a rare public statement on the courthouse steps shortly after the news broke, Smollett himself thanked his supporters as well as maintained his innocence on charges that he faked a hate crime for the betterment of his career.
